Project
De scription
At an overall estimated cost of €11.5 billion, the Amur gas processing plant comes as
part of Gazprom’s implementation of its Eastern Gas Program (EGP) to integrate field
developments, pipeline, and natural gas production centers in East Siberia and Russia’s
Far East, the Amur plant will process multicomponent gas it receives from EGP’s
Irkutsk and Yakutia gas production centers via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline to
support Gazprom’s commitment to supply 38 billion cu m/year of Russian natural gas
into China over 30 years beginning sometime between May 2019 and May 2021 .
In addition to producing about 2.5 million tpy of ethane, 1 million tpy of propane,
500,000 tpy of butane, and 200,000 tpy of pentane -hexane fraction, the Amur gas
processing c omplex also will produce as much as 60 million -cu m/year of helium based
on feedstock from the Chayandinskoye field, which together with the company’s other
reserves in East Siberia, forms one of the largest helium reservoirs in the world .

Project
Description
The facility will incorporate:
a steam cracker with a capacity of 1.5 mtpa of ethylene (process licensed
by Linde AG, Germany), 500 ktpa of propylene and 240 ktpa of high -margin
by -products (butadiene, 1 -butene, MTBE and pyrolysis gasoline);
two four -line units to produce various grades of polyethylene with a total
capacity of 1.5 mtpa (process licensed by INEOS, UK);
a polypropylene unit of 500 ktpa (process licensed by Lyondell Basell,
Netherlands).
ZapSibNefekhim is a part of the Tobolsk si te, which currently comprises facilities
operat ing in three major segments – monomer and polymer production and
power, heat and steam generat ion. The project was designed for deep conversion
of oil and gas extract ion by -products in West Siberia, including associated
petroleum gas (APG). The new facility will help commercialize up to 22.4 bcm of
APG which would otherwise be fared on site generating some 40 mtpa of pollutant
emissions. The use of advanced hydrocarbon conversion and logist ics technologies
will help make this investment project safer, more reliable and efficient .
Most of the companies involved in the construct ion are from Russia. Jointly, their
builders and engineers account for approximately 46 million man -hours. In 2016, a
total of 9,200 build ers were deployed at the construct ion site, including ca. 5,000
workers coming from Russia and other member states of the Customs Union and
some 4,000 people coming from other CIS countries. The construct ion project
relies heavily on the use of domest icall y produced technological materials and
equipment.

Project : Berezovskiy Power Plant Project –
Russia – Krasnoyarskiy Kray
Company : ENKA Construction and Industrial Corporation
Project
Description
Berezovskaya Coal Fired Power Plant Project consisted of construction of the 3rd
power block with the capacity of 800 MW to increase the overall plant capacity to
2,400 MW. The first and the second blocks were built and put into operation in
1988 and 1991 respectively . The project for the construction of the third block
went underway at the beginning of 1990s however was halted due to the collapse
of the Soviet Union. E.ON acquired the Berezovskaya power station in 2007, with
the intention of resuming its expansion. Th e Project commenced in 2011, included
the full construction of a coal fired 800 MW power block (except the main building
itself which was already constructed along with 1st and 2nd power blocks)
including the boiler, turbine, air preheaters as well as rele vant piping, auxiliary
equipment, supporting steel structures, dust/gas/air ducts, strengthening of the
main building structures, renovation of the building façade.
Energoproekt of Russia was initially selected as the EPC contractor, however later
in the p roject, E.ON Russia took the responsibility and self -managed the project
until the end.9.
24 million man -hours without LTI incident
Berezovskaya Power Plant is the only power plant in Russia with 800 MW
power units where coal is used as fuel, all the rest of the heat power plants
with same power units are operated using gas
Being fed with brown coal from the open pit mine that is 14 km away,
Berezovskaya Power Plant is vital for development of the Eastern Siberia’s power
industry.
